NOTE: Instead of going to my Facebook group, here’s the updated link to join me for a complimentary Clarity Session.

I came to coaching from teaching, writing, counseling and social justice activism. I have a B.A. in English and French from U.C. Berkeley, teacher training at Teachers College, Columbia University and three years of study at U.C. Santa Cruz in psychology. I then went through the Dual Degree Master’s Program in clinical counseling psychology and transpersonal psychology at John F. Kennedy University, where I met with teenage clients, as well as adult clients with drug addictions, working with clients on a one-on-one work, as well as in groups. I have a State of California Life General Secondary teaching credential in English, French and Spanish, and several years of experience in teaching and counseling. I’ve studied my brains out, own 2500 books and counting, have a deeply mystical nature and an endless passion for justice, democracy and the healing of our earth. I believe that women are key to the healing of life on this planet! And of course we all need to heal ourselves of the self-limiting beliefs as we learn to step into our true Self and find happiness, peace of mind, financial success, love and confident impact in the world.

I am delighted to now bring together all my passions – for poetry and literature, for music and beauty, justice and a deep reverence for all life on this planet – to the healing and transformative experiences that can happen via coaching. I do both group coaching and one-on-one coaching. If you would like to explore coaching with me, please click the link to schedule yourself into my calendar for a complimentary Clarity Session. I would love to meet you!

Self Actualized WomanThe Journey

One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice–
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.
“Mend my life!”
each voice cried.
But you didn’t stop.
You knew what you had to do,

though the wind pried
with its stiff fingers
at the very foundations–
though their melancholy
was terrible.
It was already late
enough, and a wild night,
and the road full of fallen
branches and stones.
But little by little,
as you left their voices behind,
the stars began to burn
through the sheets of clouds,
and there was a new voice,
which you slowly
recognized as your own
that kept you company
as you strode deeper and deeper
into the world,
determined to do
the only thing you could do–
determined to save
the only life you could save.
